Cancel culture means "boycott, blocked" on social media, mostly on Twitter as a form of public humiliation. It is usually targeted at celebrities, politicians, not only does their number of supporters sharply decrease, their reputation will also be affected by cancel culture. I want to share some opinion on the relationship between cancel culture and females.

First, “cancel culture” can punish people who should be punished, people who did or said something wrong. For example, well-known Chinese pianist Li Yundi was arrested for prostitution in 21 of October. Li Yundi is facing criticism from both the Internet and his industry, and he deserves it. There is also the boycotting of Li yundi in view of his violation of morality. Also, the entertainer SHOW Lo did similar things, he was banned in the mainland because of his wrongdoings too. Although he returned to Taiwan's entertainment industry, it was difficult for people to forget about what he did, and his acting career almost ended. Li Yundi and Show Lo both engaged in immoral sex trafficking, and they should be punished. Cancel culture lets them suffer the consequences for their wrong and also serves as a warning for other public figures.

Second, "cancel culture" gives disadvantaged groups a voice, for example, women can speak up. More disadvantaged groups like ethnic minorities and sexual minorities in the American society have not had a voice in society for a long time, and have been suppressed by the privileged groups like white males. "Cancel culture" gives a voice to disadvantaged groups who has difficulty in getting opportunities to speak up in the past, and enables them to unite and fight against the history or reality of discrimination and oppression, forming a pressuring public opinion. Thus, disadvantaged groups have a better chance at speaking up for themselves with cancel culture. There has been backlash against Governor Andrew Cuomo, who has been embroiled in a sexual-abuse scandal. An independent investigation by the New York Attorney General's office found that Cuomo, 63 years old, sexually harassed 11 women, including state employees. The women claimed he made explicit sexual remarks, touched or groped them inappropriately and kissed them without consent. As frequent victims of sexual assault, women tend to dare not to speak. But under the influence of "me too" and "cancel culture", women who are victims are able to unite and express their opinions, at the same time strengthening the female voice to attract more women to speak up.
''Cancel Culture'' is an important issue and a big art of it is related to females. In social networks, netizens are faced with information and opinions from all sides every day. People who are a public figure or online celebrity, it is best to think clearly before posting if one really wants to express an opinion. Also, no matter how someone expresses their views or comment on others' opinions, we should respect and think critically.
Yes, I believe the cancel culture is important, and it helps people know that no matter who you are, you need to be accountable for what you do.
u r right, cancel culture is needed in the society.
I think cancel culture can maintain the social atmosphere, because many people have done immoral things, but they have not been stopped and let them do whatever they want. For everyone's safety, it is still necessary to cancel culture.
