Nowadays, on the internet, we can see some posts is talking about "Golddiggers" and "Kong Girl". Especially on Instagram and some of the Hong Kong forums, the netizens will discuss and judge them. The terms "Golddiggers" and “Kong Girl" are universal and popular between man's chats and girls’ chats.

Why will people call some of the girls "Golddiggers" and "Kong Girl"?

One of the main reasons is because they love "luxury". They love to buy famous brands of clothes, bags shoes, jewelry or anything which is high prices. Some of the girls love to show off their luxury clothes or bags on social media, many people will discuss their behavior and think that it is show off and "Golddiggers". In some of the forums, netizens will judge girls who are "Golddiggers", which means those girls who only love rich guys and love to find a rich man.

In my perspective, love chasing luxury, for example, bags, clothes, or wallets, it doesn’t mean wrong, or it is "Golddiggers". Maybe she is worked hard on her job, so she bought her favorite brands to reward herself. If can within the scope of the ability to afford, and in the process of to buy brand for their happiness and contentment is the best, but if at the end of the day just spending it blindly trade high- end boutique, that all this had already had nothing to do with fashion, taste, self-realization, and happiness. Also, some of the brands have a long history and they are treasured and valuable, if people bought them, can maintain value.

Sometimes, a person's favorite color or favorite clothes can tell you a lot about his or her personality or feeling, especially for girls. It just tells you what kind of person he or she wants to be and how they want to be perceived. After we are meeting a woman a few times, we can probably tell what color scheme she likes from her clothes. The clothes a woman chooses to wear maybe be influenced by her mood at the time, so the clothes she wears each day often reveal her mood that day.

But I think clothes can’t represent a person's status in society. The Harvard study found that people with the whole-body famous brand are "fake" rich, people who are rich, whether the brand is famous or not is not their concern.

In my view, the real fashion, taste and have been heavy have no direct relationship between the amount of money spent. Not the more money you spent, the more fashionable and elegant you are. We can spend less money and buy something that is not so expensive, also can achieve a taste in fashion. Everyone is unique, no need to chase others, we have our fashion.
